Clovis Lande have yet again set a new standard in the design of plastic greenhouses with the HLX800 Multispan. Special emphasis has been given to provide an economical Multispan that incorporates the features that growers require today and in the future.

VENTILATION The most unique feature of the HLX800 Multispan is the facility for roof ventilation. Vertical sliding polycarbonate panels provide a Ridge Vent that is storm proof, weather proof and watertight which can be opened even in a wind. Used on its own or coupled with side vents adequate reliable ventilation is at last available in a plastic greenhouse. The vents are also designed to accept insect screening if required.
CONSTRUCTION The HLX800 is constructed from galvanised 60.3mm Dia. steel for the stanchions and hoops and is fully crossbraced, end braced and longitudinally braced to the latest European specifications. Dropping gutters enable the cladding to be simply and rapidly tensioned for maximum service life. The Clovis Lande "Peaked" gothic profile is retained to provide the benefits of snow and condensation run off and enhanced storm resistance associated with the other Tunnel and Multispan models in the Highlande range.

The Highlande 660 has computer aided "Vertical Sided" design with twin side stanchions and eaves side gutters for optimum strength / price / performance. Manufactured from Z35 structural steel tube to BS6323 galvanised internally and externally. Hoops and stanchions 50mm (2") dia., Ridge, Gable End Braces and Lintel 45mm (1 3/4") dia. Extruded aluminium gutters with "Grip Strip" profile for simple secure cladding attachment. Twin bolted stanchions. All clamps, bolts and fittings are zinc plated.This combination of quality design and materials gives design wind speeds of 55m/sec (123 mph) and snow loadings of 750 N/m2 as standard (Specific wind/snow loadings can be allowed for using our design capabilities).

"Gothic Arch" profile to assist snow shedding and condensate run off, particularly important to obtain the full benefit of "Anti-Drop" claddings and disrupt the laminar air flow over the structure, thus enhancing wind resistance.

All steel galvanised inside and out. All bolts and brackets are zinc plated. HLX models include 32mm (1.25") Dia Cross Brace with twin bolted tubular droppers to every hoop.
